Our story
Who we are, and why pouches.
YIRANXIN is a small-batch atelier making handmade cosmetic pouches. We started at an old wooden desk, sewing for ourselves and for friends — and we still work that way.

The name
Yi, Ran, Xin.
Yi is change — cloth softens and ages with use. Ran is slow — good things should not be rushed. Xin stacks three gold radicals, a long wish for work made by hand.
The making
Five steps, none skipped.
01
Choosing the cloth
Weight, weave and colour compared bolt by bolt; flawed lengths are set aside.
02
Pattern and cut
Patterns drawn, pieces cut, edges overlocked before they can fray.
03
Sewing the body
Fixed stitch length, straight seams, the base pressed into shape.
04
Zip and lining
Metal zip aligned, lining bagged out, the opening closed flat.
05
Final check
Seams, zip pull and interior checked by hand; the care card goes in last.
Materials
Honest about what the cloth will do.
Linen and cotton show slubs and slight colour shifts — they are natural markers, not defects. Silk jacquard shifts with light and changes batch to batch. Full-grain leather keeps its pores and grain, and darkens where you hold it.
